For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER (5680)
In this role you will be responsible for the enforcement of a new Pricing Platform, understanding of the structure and implementing solutions. Quickly identifying issues, and ensuring a rapid turnaround, is the key to success in this role.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- SEVERAL YEARS WORKING EXPERIENCE AS SOFTWARE/SYSTEM ENGINEER WITHIN THE FINANCIAL SECTOR
- IN DEPTH KNOWLEDGE ON CORE JAVA TECHNOLOGY AND EXPERT KNOWLEDGE IN JEE TECHNOLOGIES, INCLUDING EJB3, JMS, WEBSERVICES, JPA, JSF ETC.
- Strong background and experience with Database Technologies (pref. Oracle) and SQL
- Experienced in OO design, including UML and design patterns
- Ability to facilitate effective communication with senior technical and business associates
- Self-motivated and self-dependent personality with a client and team oriented way of working
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH, GERMAN IS NICE TO HAVE
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ownership of your role within the Pricing Platform team, from stem to stern
- Implementing solutions involving a very large amount of data inputs
- Responsibility for a smoothly running Production environment, and providing Third Level Support
- Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine viability of solution architecture
