Senior Java Developer - £45-50k West London - Mobile Industry

The job
As a senior developer, you will build and develop our product roadmap. You will be working closely with your peers in development, product management, deployment and operations to implement features at a rapid pace while driving innovation through creativity and code. You are hands-on, strategic, and proactive in a dynamic environment. You will have a passion for solving complex and interesting problems in an Agile team situation.

Responsibilities
- Senior Developer responsible for designing, developing and implementing small to large technical modules with a high level of complexity.
- Maintain and proactively contribute to the Agile development team
- Providing guidance to other developers in technical design and proper technique.

Technical skills
- 5 years Java development
- 3 years JEE server side development with experience of EJB3.0 and JBoss
- At least 2 years RDBMS high volume experience preferably MySQL
- Some of the above preferably gained in the mobile telecommunications sector

Technical experience
- Developing Java based solutions to complex problems
- Design and integration of Java components within an enterprise environment
- Ability to take architectural vision, communicate and implement it as working solutions
- Ability to analyse, maintain and evolve existing solutions
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycles with good practical experience of agile methodologies
