Requirements:

7 years of experience as a JAVA Developer
5 years experience with working in a (scaled) Agile environment and Scrum teams
5 years Knowledge of Web/Java 8, Web services (soap)/XSD, SQL, JPA, Maven, Jenkins, JEE6, Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), Java Message Service (JMS); Eclipse;
Computer programming

The assignment:

Within the team Customer Management Basic registration in the TAAK chain, we are looking for a T-shaped Senior Java developer. A solid personality with extensive experience with Java/Mainframe Back End solutions. He/she has experience with TDD and working in a Scrum team. In addition to new developments, maintenance and management will also be partly worked on within the team (in the direction of DevOps). The TAAK chain is responsible for developing, managing and making available IV facilities for, among other things, Customs's office tasks. The development of new applications and the improvement or expansion of existing applications in the TAAK chain takes place short-cyclically Agile development methods. Seven multidisciplinary teams work within the chain. Teams consist of a mix (multidisciplinary) of developers, supplemented with a scrum master and product owner. On average, the teams are 9 men in size. The composition of the MD team will look at a good mix between expertise, experience and the right competencies. We are looking for someone who is motivated to work in an Agile/scrum environment within the IV chain Customs, wider than his/her own field.

Within the Customer Management department, the applications Customer Information System (KIS) and Customs Authorization and Licenses (DVV) are being developed.
The application DVV is intended as an application that provides fully automated means that you can access data from EU/NL licenses and registrations regardless of the source.
DVV validates and provides data on licenses based on CDMS, Registered Exporter (REX) and KIS.

DVV has various interfaces such as:

- delivery of DVV license data to NCTS;
- link DMF to DVV;
- link AGS to DVV;
- SEED link to DVV;
- link My Customs to DVV;

DVV is currently largely set up as a new construction facility.

Within the team use is made of the agile Scrum method i.c.m. the Safe Agile framework. Requirements that are set for the application include: High performance requirements, High degree of test automation and reliability.

General Tasks of a team member in an MD team are:

* You contribute to refining backlog items.
* You contribute to the planning of iterations.
* You contribute to measuring and improving the work performed.
* You actively participate in the necessary scrum sessions and events.
* You work together with other multidisciplinary teams to ensure that the chain always continues to work.
* You support and replace colleagues within the multidisciplinary team where necessary.
