THE SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER WILL IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- You are an experienced Java developer and use various frameworks and technologies such as Spring 4/5, Spring boot, Kafka, Oracle, JMS (SOAP), Spring data/Hibernate, Linux, Java 8, and Cassandra.
- It is an absolute plus if you have knowledge and experience with Apache Camel, REST APIs, TIBCO and MQ. You have a bachelor's degree in Informatics, or similar. You have at least 5 years' experience in Java and are able to make design decisions.
- You have an overview of the full spectrum of engineering skills (analysis, design, build, test, CI/CD pipeline management)
- You can provide efficient and manageable code
- You have experience with testing and various test tools such as Junit, Virtualize, Cucumber etc
- You have experience with Agile/Scrum/Devops and the Continuous Integration and Delivery practices
- You have experience with tools like GitLab, Artifactory, Maven, Nolio, Jenkins
- You speak excellent English.
- You have a proactive attitude in obtaining the necessary information and do this in an open and direct way.

THE SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- In this function you develop solutions for the decommissioning of the Mainframe, and you guide other teams in implementing these solutions.
- You like working together in a multidisciplinary team and at the same time you also find it important that you can use your own expertise.
- A large part of your work consists of developing solutions for Mainframe applications.
- In more detail, this means working on a wide range of solutions, routing terminal traffic to new resources, designing and realizing a platform to simplify the transition of Mainframe applications, and realizing new functionality for Mainframe functionality.
