THE SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER WILL IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- Java EE (in particular EJB, JMS, XA transactions and Web Services)
- Relational Database (preferably Oracle DB 12)
- Version control system (preferably Git)
- Java Application Server (preferably Weblogic 12+)
- Completed computer science education at HBO/WO education.
- At least 5 years of recent demonstrable hands-on development experience within different organizations.
- Demonstrable experience with integration issues.
- Demonstrable work experience in working in an agile (scrum) team.
- Analysis work at junior level is a plus.
- Object Oriented Analysis & design met UML.
- Knowledge of and experience with the development of decision support systems.
- Concepts and industry standards such as HTTP, XML/XSD, WSDL, JAX-WS.
- Experience with WebLogic administration.
- Test Driven Development.

THE SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Writing automated tests as: unit, integration and GUI tests.
- Writing technical documentation as support for the software.
- The devising, drafting and testing of a technical design, in accordance with the technical reference architecture, for a requirements issue.
- Understanding a complex functional domain and thereby asking critical questions to the information analysts, software architects and product owner.
- Analyse and document the analysis of findings and possible solutions.
- As a sparring partner on a technical level for the rest of the members of the Scrum team and all other scrum teams
