Senior Java Developer
Hello, I am looking for a senior Jave Developer that has had experience working with Oracle. A good experience with supporting/support and managing offshore development teams.
To start withing 4weeks.
Job Description
Overview of business area or project:
The candidate is expected to work on multiple projects in the LRP and NON-LRP domains.
The role requires strong communication and coordination skills along with the relevant technical skills. Software is developed using a SCRUM/AGILE approach encapsulated in the SAFE framework.
Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role:
The role will involve coordination with teams in Zurich, Poland, Pune and America. Working against aggressive time scales to what can be fairly rigid regulatory deadlines.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
+7 years of Java development
Some years of Oracle 10/11g experience working on an Oracle platform
+ 7 years of SQL experience
Off Shore Coordination is a must (must have excellent communication skills)
Java development with Eclipse under Windows for a Unix target system
JSF, EJB, Spring-Batch and exposure to MQ and Web services
SVN experience
Knowledge and effective use of Maven and Ant
Bachelor/Master Degree, equal education or qualifying experience in Information Technology
Expert in Software Engineering and Software Design
Expert communication skills
Leadership and People Management skills is a must
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Oracle Business Intelligence experience as a plus
JAP (CS internal platform) knowledge as a plus
Willingness to work in an agile project model
Team City and Jenkins experience would a big plus
Basic Banking know how
