Senior Java Developer

International client in the region of Amsterdam is urgently looking for a Senior Java developer for a contract position for 6 months.

Our client is moving the Back End of one of the projects from PHP to Java and needs an experienced Java developer to assist them with this project.

Our client needs someone who is quite senior and who can work on the development, setting up best practices, helps with making decisions on frameworks, etc The required developer needs to be someone who has good coaching skills and who can coach and assist the other developers as well.

Skills:

- Minimum of 5 years Java development experience
- Extensive knowledge of Java EE and Java SE
- Extensive experience with Spring
- Extensive knowledge of OO principles
- Good experience with working in a Scrum environment
- Comfortable working in an international environment
- Good experience with high load and high traffic products
- SOAP, REST and Webservices knowledge is required
- Knowledge of SOA architecture
- Experience of Design Patterns
- Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns

Location: Region of Amsterdam

Duration: Minimum of 6 months - possible extension

Rate: €60

Hours: 40 hours a week (on - site)
