Senior Java Developer

SR. JAVA DEVELOPER - ROCHESTER, NY - 12 MONTHS

The client is looking for Senior Java talent.

This project has a very aggressive timeframe and is full of challenging interfaces.

Senior level developers will find this an excellent place to be challenged.

The client has architects to help with design, but will need senior talent to make sure it's done right the first time.

*CLIENT IS OPEN TO FOLKS WORKING REMOTELY, BUT THAT WILL DEPEND ON THEIR ABILITY TO WORK REMOTELY AND BE EFFECTIVE.*

RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs, develops, and implements Java applications to support business content system requirements.
Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Requires a bachelor's degree in software engineering and at least 4-6 years of experience in software development.
Experience with MySQL and SQL calls essential.
Familiarity with Hibernate, PHP, Maven, and XLS as well standard coding concepts, practices, and procedures is required.
Must rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Typically reports to a supervisor and/or project manager

TOP SKILLS:
1. SQL Experience - very high
2. Java & REST experience
3. XML experience
