Senior Java Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER to join our client located in Charlotte, NC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing and implementation of the organization's systems and software.
- May participate in the planning, evaluation, installation, implementation, communication, and client training for new technology and enhancements.
- The understanding and application of the organization's processes, procedures, design and coding standards as it applies to own work assignments.
- Works independently with little direct supervision or review.
- Will be assigned to various project teams in within the division as an application development resource.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Java
- Strong experience in the following: Hibernate and Spring frameworks; Object Oriented Design and development of SVN (Subversion/Subclispe); JUnit o JSF 2.0 and RichFaces; Maven; EZ Mock; XML/XSLT; and SQL
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
- Solid understanding of exceptions, error handling, transactions
- Java generics
- Exposure to JMS-compliant product(s) (optional, but strongly desired)
- Debugging/Troubleshooting - on local Workstation as well as Server Side (no IDE)
- Eclipse-based IDE (optional, but strongly desired)
- Looking for well-rounded individuals with web design/development experience in a J2EE environment as well as framework experience.
