Senior Java Back End Software Engineer

Are you a senior level Back End Java EE software developer with exposure to Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Spark and Splunk and have a passion for predictive analytics and machine learning techniques?

You could be a significant contributor at a very-well established and successful R&D software group developing complete security fraud detection systems, tools and models.

Initially a 12 month contract with a competitive hourly rate circa €60 to €70 per hour depending on the level of the requested skills. Our client has strongly indicated that they are very likely to extend for a further 12 to 24 months.

Ideally you will possess a scientific qualification at a Master's level, experienced with Java EE, Python, SQL, Restful development and exposure to Big Data tools/technology, such as Hadoop, Spark, Redis, Cassandra and Splunk.

IDEALLY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:

- Experience in data analytics and machine learning
- Experience in DevOps
- Cloud computing: AWS, Google Cloud
- Data analytics: R, KNIME, WEKA, FICO, TensorFlow
- Programming in Scala, Haskell
