Senior IT Systems Engineer

The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintenance of IT systems. Primarily, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of all Servers and network equipment. In addition, s/he will provide support and maintenance of applications and end user hardware and software as required. The IT Systems Engineer will provide project support for new systems by way of technical input, technical design, technical implementation, and technical documentation as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support and maintenance of server hardware and software
- Support and maintenance of network equipment
- Support and maintenance of databases
- Support and maintenance of end user computers and applications
- Support and maintenance of network storage and backup
- Technical design of new solutions
- Technical documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with administration of Microsoft Server and SQL Server
- Experience with administration of Citrix
- Experience with administration of VMware
- Experience with administration of Microsoft Exchange
- Experience with administration of Active Directory
- Experience with administration of layer 3 Switches and Routers
- Must be a truly senior level, highly experienced professional capable of acting as the go-to resource and first line responder and knowledge base
