Senior IT Support/Reporting Analyst Job

SR. IT SUPPORT/REPORTING ANALYST needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- SSRS Reports Analysis
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle 11g
- Web App Development/Support experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Senior IT Support Analyst/Senior IT Reporting Analyst
- 50% support/maintenance, 50% Report Writing
- This role delivers reports & support services (to their performance Matrix and data cubes) for fossil/hydro applications, IT/business merger projects, business initiatives, IT Corporate initiatives, and IT solution alternatives.
- This role provides end user support/maintenance regarding application issue resolution and (possibly small development enhancements).
- Other role responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and maintaining existing software (purchased or built) in a production environment
- Researching and providing IT solutions and estimates
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications to estimate solution delivery cost and timeline
- Code reviews
- Vendor software implementation and support
- Support existing Reporting and Analytics Solutions and assist in design and creation of new reporting solutions
- Migration management for test and production environments
- Develop and maintain effective application technical support documentation
- Participates in 24X7 IT support model

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five plus (5+) years of experience in application development and application support
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including, Integration Services, Reporting Services, Analysis Services
- Experience with Oracle 11g using ODP.NET and TOAD
- Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007/2010 development
- Ability to multi task effectively
- Self-starter and capable of working with minimum oversight
- Experience with C#, Web Development technologies (AJAX, ASP.NET, VB,VB.NET, HTML, and XML), ADO.NET using Visual Studio.NET this team already has their developers in place but have no reporting services analytics. Ideally a Functional/Techno hybrid would be best but short of that, stay with the functional reporting side.
- The manager highlighted the following requirements-
- Support existing Reporting and Analytics Solutions and assist in design and creation of new reporting solutions.
