Senior IT Security/Compliance Project Manager Job

SENIOR IT SECURITY/COMPLIANCE PROJECT MANAGER needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION.

- Experience with 3rd party software implementation

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Currently the IT PMO is in need of a Senior Project Manager for a security and compliance project. This effort will implement a corporate-wide identity access management solution.
- We are seeking a project manager with a strong background in 3rd party software implementation, configuration, and integration.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Candidates MUST HAVE experience with commercial off the shelf technology.
- They must be extremely professional and have excellent presentation skills.
- They must have experience with compliance related projects and understand the basics of NERC-CIP. This project will be managing early stages of an implementation prior to it going to NERC-CIP so they don't have to be an expert just understand it.
- MUST BE AN IT PROJECT MANAGER with application development and COTS project management experience
- Must have IT application experience
- Must have stability on resume
- Must have excellent, clear communication
- Must have formal project methodology experience
- Ten (10) years of IT PM experience
- Process design and implementation experience
- MS Project 2010 Proficiency
- Proven ability to understand and manage the political nuances associated with large projects
- The ability to motivate teams without direct authority

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- NERC/CIP compliance implementation
- Experience in the utility industry
- Security Software project experience
- Ability to effectively apply structured project management methodologies
- Experience working with various applications having complex interfaces
- Strong technical background with ability to effectively communicate between business and IT experts
- Experience working with applications highly driven by changing regulatory environment
