Senior IT Security Analyst, Bank, Brussels

OBJECTIVE: My client, a successful bank based in Brussels is seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst to join the IT Security Management (ITSM) team which ensu res that the technology infrastructure at the bank protects corporate assets from unauthorised access, modification, disclosure and destruction. ITSM is the service owner of the logical security domain and infrastructure through the implementation of security services and infrastructure, risk assessments, requirement setting, and active participation in the project delivery life cycle, as well as ensuring adequate processes and procedures for the security administration teams.

TASKS:

- Perform risk based assessments to define service, application, and infrastructure security requirements for Business and IT projects and proposals, including detailed reviews of business initiatives, project proposals and project life cycle documentation;
- Follow different projects and initiatives to ensure consistent and adequate implementation of the set security requirements;
- Act as security subject matter expert and point of contact to the business and teams;
- Definition of security requirements in contractual obligations for outsourced and SAAS services.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

You will be service oriented, with a minimum 5 years solid IT security experience. You must have proven experience in security risk assessments, development of functional security requirements, process design and management reporting.

A solid understanding of security concepts, practices and frameworks eg. defence in depth, risk, threat and vulnerability management, metrics based management reporting and dashboards, compliance

2) Authentication and access controls Security services (Authentication and authorisation schemes, Role-based access controls, Single sign-on...);

3) Design Middleware and application level security processes and controls;

4) UNIX and Windows System security and assurance;

5) Networking & Firewalls: sound knowledge of network principles and protocols used in DMZ and LAN's Preferred professional certifications are MSc, CISA, CISSP, CISM.
