For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

SENIOR IT SAP PROJECT MANAGER (CLINICAL SUPPLY CHAIN)

As a Senior IT (SAP) Project Manager, the position will be responsible for leading the delivery of two projects and provide quality oversight. The Senior IT Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of solutions through effective planning and execution throughout all phases of project management methodology. This position is expected to ensure timely and effective communications are made to all levels of stakeholders including business sponsorship.

PROJECT BACKGROUND:
The senior project manager will manage two projects:
Pharma Affiliates - Phase V and IMP Quality Systems Integration: Basel DP
Pharma Affiliates project is ongoing. Solution has already been implemented and now the project delivers solution to the affiliates in EU and APAC.
IMP Quality Systems Integration: Basel DP is a new project.

Pharma Affiliates:
The purpose of this project is to extend the provision of a single validated solution for managing the clinical supply chain at more local affiliates allowing them to manage all local trials with the global system and enable full end-to-end batch traceability.

IMP Quality Systems Integration: Basel DP:
The intent of the IMP Quality Systems Integration: Basel DP project is to build a solution for managing Basel DP inventory and supporting Basel DP releases, including generation of Batch Certificates, in CLARA.

Business Problem the project will address:
Clinical Drug Supply Application (CLARA) is Global System used across the sites to manage, enable and support the Excellence in Clinical Supply (ECS) processes: Study Supply Planning, Material Planning & Control, Packaging, and Distribution.

TASKS:

- Project Scope Management - Formulating and defining scope and objectives of the project in collaboration with the responsible Solution Owner and ensuring communication of project goals, schedule baselines, and business direction to all identified stakeholders
- Project Stakeholder/Communication Management - Identifying all relevant project stakeholders and establishing and implementing an appropriate communication plan to manage their requirements
- Project Delivery Primarily - Delivering the project on time, on approved (baseline) budget, within quality limits, and with the expected benefits, as defined at project entry and project baseline gates and through controlled and documented change management throughout project delivery, as needed
- Project Risk, Assumption, Issue and Dependency (RAID) Management - Actively managing risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) by carefully assessing potential impacts in collaboration with the respective project teams and proposing appropriate mitigation actions. Is also responsible for identifying, actively managing and integrating with any dependent projects or activities.
- Project Planning, Tracking, Control & Reporting - Creating baseline project schedules and tracking the completion of project deliverables, tasks, activities and milestones. Providing accurate, timely and fit for purpose project status reports using established norms and reporting tools of the portfolio
- Team Buildingor equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong presentation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and acting as a self-starter, results-oriented with a track record of timely delivery of high-quality solutions

NICE TO HAVE:

- + PMM methodology experience and with the tools involved for maintaining a project (Perform, Clarity, Project Library,HPSM, HP ALM, etc.)
- + Working German language skills
- + Pharma or Biotech experience
- + Experience delivering applications to support Clinical Supply Chain operations

STARTING DATE: FEBRUARY 1 2017 (LATEST START: FEBRUARY 28,2017)
DURATION: TILL JANUARY 28, 2018 (AN EXTENSION MIGHT BE POSSIBLE, BUT WOULD NEED TO BE APPROVED)
LOCATION: BASEL (REMOTE IS NOT POSSIBLE)
Workload: 100% (Flexibility in work hours is required to work with and support global teams)
Travelling: up to 10% travelling may be required (Asia region with destinations in Australia and China)
Team: virtual cross-functional global teams
