Senior IT Requirements Engineer (Banking)

IT REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER FOR REGULATORY MIFID

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a SENIOR REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER FOR REGULATORY MIFID. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Description:

- Elaborate high level requirements and ensure handover to delivery project
- Manage project scope on ongoing basis
- Coach and guide project requirements engineers across entire solution delivery life cycle
- Ensure high quality of requirements artifacts in delivery projects
- Create common understanding on project scope between business program management, business project management, IT program management and IT project management
- Support delivery projects in requirements space as needed
- Establish requirements management process for allocated topics

Skills:

- 7+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN IT REQUIREMENTS ENGINEERING SPACE:
- ELICITATION, SPECIFICATION, MODELLING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE
- FEATURES, USE CASES, NON-FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS, EPICS, USER STORIES, UML
- 7+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN BANKING/FINANCIAL INDUSTRY:
- PROCESSES: ADVISORYTRADINGCLIENT REPORTING; REGULATORY REPORTING
- PRODUCTS: LISTED & OTC
- strong track record as Lead RE (incl. requirements governance and management)
- Waterfall and Agile (Scrum) approaches
- Languages: Fluent in English, German desirable
