Senior IT Quality Assurance Analyst

Our client in the Cleveland area is looking for a Senior IT Quality Assurance analyst to backfill for an FTE who is unavailable for an indefinite period of time.

Ideal candidates will have a proven software and/or system testing experience to work on large, complex enterprise projects. This person will be part of a test team responsible for testing projects that include a wide variety of technology supporting internal systems and applications (ie infrastructure). System solutions are developed and tested in a fast paced waterfall and agile methodology which requires exceptional collaboration skills in an open work environment. The ideal candidate will need to learn quickly during project onboarding to gain knowledge of Company systems applications and their frameworks.

Required:

Required knowledge and experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, analysing, executing, and assessing risk across the testing of multiple applications with significant size, scope and complexity
Thorough understanding of test design and a variety of test techniques including White Box and Black Box testing
Strong technical knowledge and skills working with both manual and automated test execution.

Plusses:

Ability to write a test approach/strategy.
Experience using automation tools - Quality Center (QC) and Quick Test Professional (QTP) are the preferred tools.
Defect reporting & analysis.
Ability to conduct test risk analysis.
Understanding of SQL and DB2 database services.
Understanding of SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures.
Experience with XML and possess the ability to update, edit, and create test data in using XML.
Understanding of HTML.
Experience with basic testing types including: Component (Black Box), Security, Usability, Web Services, Mainframe, Database, and Desktop/Client.
Experience with Framework for Integrated Test (FIT).
Experience with Mobile Native App and Mobile Web testing.
