Senior IT QA Analyst

Our direct Fortune 500 client is in need of a Senior IT Quality Assurance Analyst.

This request is for an experienced Quality Assurance Tester who will be working on project teams testing various applications within the client platform. The ideal candidate will have solid experience testing UI-based applications with a minimum of 6 years of overall QA experience. Experience with risk-based testing, automated testing, and the Agile project methodology using story cards is also required. Candidates must have experience in writing and executing test cases and the ability to work on projects following an established test methodology. Working knowledge of Quality Center/ALM is preferred.

Required:

Required testing skills:
Ability to write a test approach/strategy.
Experience using automation tools - Quality Center (QC) and Quick Test Professional (QTP) are the preferred tools.
Defect reporting & analysis.
Ability to conduct test risk analysis.
Understanding of SQL and DB2 database services.
Understanding of SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures.
Experience with XML and possess the ability to update, edit, and create test data in using XML.
Understanding of HTML.
Experience with basic testing types including: Component (Black Box), Security, Usability, Web Services, Mainframe, Database, and Desktop/Client.
Able to work in a team environment.
Ability to work on a variety of work

Plusses:

Preferred testing skills:
Experience with Framework for Integrated Test (FIT).
Experience with Mobile Native App and Mobile Web testing.
