For our client, an international financial service provider, located in Frankfurt/Main (Germany), we are currently looking for a Senior IT Projectmanager Demand & Finance (f/m).

Type of contract: Permanent position directly at our client

Your key tasks:

* Engage effectively with IT project stakeholders during the IT demand-gathering phase so that there is a meaningful and efficient debate on objectives, priorities and available resources
* Coordinate and manage projects for the Data and Application Integration team
* Contribute to the design of the IT portfolio within a fast-paced, dynamic professional IT environment in a continuous dialogue with business, IT architects, project managers and business analysts
* govern and track the demand management process and the related documentation
* Preparation of projects as an input channel into IT project management
* The planning of expenses and requirements as well as the securing of the requested services is a core task for you
* Drive the development of methodologies and approaches in this domain
* Define, evaluate, commission and monitor SLAs for IT services
* Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, being an advocate for best practices in portfolio and project management

Your profile:

* Successfully completed masters degree in a relevant field, e.g. business administration, information technology or computer science
* Several (10+) years of professional experience within the financial industry (or similar) in IT demand, scoping and portfolio management, ideally, including advising, steering and managing IT portfolio of projects to improve IT project delivery
* Experience in requirements analysis and creation of conceptual documents
* Very good understanding of business IT, with a track record in initiating, scoping or designing IT products and services that delivered business value in the field of IT projects, software applications/ development
* Proven experience in providing services to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes and support innovation
* Extensive experience in optimising the demand pipeline and the IT project portfolio (capacity issues, schedule bottlenecks, dependencies and financial performance, identify opportunities/ delays)
* Profound knowledge of project management, understanding the principles and frameworks behind successful project management
* Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment, including in respect of setting acceptance criteria, defining quality assurance plans and overseeing testing/acceptance processes
* An advanced knowledge portfolio/project planning and management
* Communication and organizational skills as well as good analytical skills
* Experience in the financial industry
* Advanced command of English, additional languages are an asset
