We re looking for candidates with at least 8 years of technical project management experience (not business PMs). Hands-on experience with Integration type projects within the last 2-3 years is required as well as expert knowledge of Project Scheduling software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. PMP certification is required.

This candidate will join the Integration and Common Services Project Management Office (PMO) to contribute to programs developing enterprise platforms for use by specific software development applications. The programs develop core capabilities, such as Search, Content Management, and Document Management, to support our enterprise clients web based applications. File Management program develops secure file transfer capabilities utilized across client services. The Project Manager will be responsible for successful project inception and delivery while working with matrixed teams comprised of Systems Analysts, Vendors, Development, QA, Operations and Business personnel. Project Management experience with configuring, customizing, and deploying third party Portal and File Management software (eg, Axway, SharePoint, Fast or Google Search, TeamSite) is highly regarded.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with business and technology subject matter experts to define scope, create accurate and inclusive estimates, develop budgets and project plans, and produce high quality charters and other planning documentation needed for funding approvals.
- Direct project activities, conduct reviews, manage risk mitigation, issues, and change control processes, and communicate status to senior executives within the development and business partner organizations.
- Manage and track project budgets, forecasts and schedule to achieve target scope, schedule and cost.
- Ensure that all Integration and Common Services projects are in compliance with Project Management Methodology and Key Controls and that accurate and timely information is collected and reported regularly on project progress and financial status.
- Achieve project goals by collaborating with stakeholders at all management levels across the corporation, including architects and strategists, technical IT subject matter experts, business partners, vendors, and senior management.
- Demonstrate skills in conflict management and negotiation to achieve project goals and develop trust with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate and leverage strong business and financial acumen.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
- MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
- 8-10 years experience required
- PMP Certification required
- Expert knowledge of Project Scheduling software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio required
- Expert knowledge of computer software, such as .net, Java, Ruby on Rails, etc.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
- Financial experience preferred
- Must sit onsite in Foster City
