Senior IT Project Manager in Munich Needed (f/m)

For our client we are looking for an Senior IT Project Manager (f/m) on a freelance basis

Project Start: ASAP

Project duration: 12 months

Location: Munich

Languages: Business Fluent in English and German

Tasks

* Transition all Online hardware, software and network infrastructure from the current external provider to internal IT (and Partners) by December 2018; and
* Plan the subsequent transition from Partners to own IT.
* Determine, define and document precise project plan through meetings with IT Partners and stakeholders
* Provide detailed documentation of current state and desired end state including costs, roles and responsibilities and a deliverables time-line should be included in your project plan to be published for stakeholders
* Organise and run regular project status update meetings for stakeholders
* Ensure adequate contracts are in place as needed
* Manage the production of project estimates and the project schedule
* To assemble the project team, identify the appropriate project resources and provide guidance and direction to project team members
* Proactively manage risks, issues, budget, and scope throughout the project life-cycle
* Prepare and present project plans and status reports to the project board, project teams and client/customer groups as agreed with stakeholders

Skills

* Degree in Computer Science, Business Computing or IT related subject
* Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince 2) necessary
* A proven track record in the delivery of complex software application development and systems integration projects
* 7-10 years of solid IT project management experience with projects with tight timelines and cost constraints
* Experience in cloud transition projects, management and business transformation

* Business Fluent in English and German

* Munich based with regular travel
