Senior IT Project Manager for PB Collateral (Contract)

For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER FOR PB COLLATERAL (CONTRACT)

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Lead a work stream of a complex companywide program in the Collateral Management environment interfacing with global IT and business counterparts globally
- Implement new collateral regulations (BCBS/IOSCO) within an existing and new application suite in the private banking area as well as integrate business processes and system changes
- Execute Collateral projects through analysis, business partnerships, business case development and project management and help define standards and best practices throughout the program life cycle
- Ensure delivery on time and in budget as well as in terms of cost, schedule, resourcing, quality, and establish sustainable relationships with business and IT stakeholders as well as sponsors
- Ensure architecture compliance by collaboration with functional and domain architects
- Establish and manage project governance structure, delivery processes and driving enhancements at the project and program level

REQUIREMENTS

- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related subject
- Proven track record of 6+ years project management experience, of which at least 3 years as Senior Project Manager in a complex Matrix-structured program in banking, preferably with knowhow in Collateral Management
- Solid experience in leading complex and time-critical regulatory projects and leading developer team on-shore and off-shore
- Flexibility to work on both agile and waterfall projects with the relevant knowhow in both methodologies - project management certification and/or PMP is required
- Ability to create concise and clear reports and presentations and to communicate effectively to senior management, stakeholders and SMEs
- Excellent English language skills, candidates with fluent German skills will be preferred

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (extension highly possible)
- Daily rate: CHF 885 - 895 all inclusive
- Workload: 80 - 100%
- Location: Zurich
