This position is part of the IT Product Solutions Program Management Office (PMO) of one of the worlds most recognized financeMBA or related advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of project management related experience leading technical/business teams in delivering multi-tier web enabled applications and Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse implementations
- Demonstrated ability to manage large projects ($10 M+) and prioritize activities appropriately
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; solid problem solving skills; high attention to detail execution and management; outstanding persuasion and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in matrixed environment highly preferred
- Financial services, credit card, payment industry experience ideal
- Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies and best practices
- Working knowledge of full software development life cycle from requirements gathering to post-implementation production support, including quality assurance and system integration
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and coordinate activities with cross-divisional and cross-functional teams
- Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business professionals at all levels of the organization
- Excellent analysis skills, including the ability to think strategically, and be able to manage multiple projects at same time effectively
- Ability to analyze complex project situations, set goals and objectives, and manage situations to satisfactory completion
- Fluent in project management tools; solid understanding of project financial controls
