Senior IT Project Manager

Our direct client, a Fortune 500 company in Cleveland, OH, is looking for an IT Project Manager for a 1 year contract position with likely extensions. Your will lead an initiative to reduce defect rates in one of their largest mission critical software applications. A minimum of ten years project management experience is required, with a proven track record of delivering complex application development projects in large corporate environments. In addition, a strong background in statistical quality control as applied to software development is highly desirable. PMP certification is preferred. We can only work on a W-2 basis

- 10+ years project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects in large corporate environments.
- Strong background in statistical quality control, Six Sigma preferred
- Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and is comfortable interacting with all levels of management.
- Exhibit leadership qualities that enable them to motivate the project team to achieve outstanding results.
- General understanding of various technologies and technical concepts that could include: application programming, database design, system design, Internet and web presence, or Client Server architectures.
