On behalf of our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced German speaking Senior IT Project Manager with a strong track record in asset servicing for a long term contract in Zurich starting ASAP.

SENIOR IT PROGRAM MANAGER, BANKING, ENGLISH AND GERMAN (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

Context:

- Our client has the ambition to consolidate our highly-fragmented Asset Servicing landscape (corporate action, income and redemption processing) with a single, global and vendor-based solution that enables a future utility service model
- The next step is a so-called scoping phase, where we want to refine the target state definition, align the roadmap with other major change initiative with dependencies and to revise the Business case for senior management decision
- We are looking for a senior project manager to support our client with project planning and Business case revision in this phase
- There is a good chance, the candidate can continue in a key role in the program if we get approval for the Business case

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills:

- Excellent university degree (preferably in Economics/Management, Science, Information Technology) or equivalent
- 10+ years professional experience as a project or program manager working on projects within the management consulting or financial services industry
- Established track record in tackling complex issues & executing initiatives in the context of a large organization
- Strong experience in providing a global strategy with providing a business case for the road map for the consolidation of the multiple Legacy platforms and applications
- Experience dealing with large budgets of CHF 10 Mio+
- Solid Know-how of Asset Servicing processes and systems (including vendor products)
- Experience developing the business case & road map especially the costing of this project, talking to senior management and helping to prepare and deliver presentations Solid Track Record in delivery of conceptual IT system architecture
- Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills
- Constructive approach to your work and to a feedback culture combined with the drive to continually develop yourself and your working environment
- Fluent German and English language skills
