For our client, a major financial institution based in Zürich, we are currently looking for an experienced and competent

Senior IT Java Developer/Designer, J2EE, Contract (Banking, Zürich)

The ideal candidate will have:

- Significant design/architecture/delivery experience of Java development for high volume enterprise systems
- Exposure to caching, aggregation, map-reduce technologies.
- Good understanding of OO design principles
- J2EE, multi-tier architecture, Spring, Oracle
- Agile/Scrum
- Fluent English, German is a plus
- Experience with Vertica/Hadoop/Pivotal/Cloudera Big Data platform are a plus

You will be a key point of contact for Finance development teams, and will work closely with the finance Architect and BA's
