Senior IT Consultant

Senior IT Consultant required for a major Afghan telecoms company, working as part of a large management consultancy team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review and Assess Existing IT Network Architecture & Design
- Review and Assess Existing IT Network Processes & Procedures
- Recommend Changes, and Support the Implementation of Recommended Changes
- Support the Planning Efforts for a new Network Operations Centre
- Provide On-The-Job Training to existing IT Staff

Requirements:
Minimum 12 years experience in:

- Management and configuration of various security technologies
- IT management, managing small to midsize groups of highly competent Network and Security engineers, including hiring, mentoring, coaching, review and disciplinary actions
- Network and Security Architectures, creating complex and secure multi-use, multi-protocol networks.
- Excellent command of English (written & spoken)
- Experience in the Middle East/Northern Africa is an advantage

START DATE: Immediate (end of January)
TERM: Assignment duration will be 3 months with the possibility to be extended
LOCATION: based in Kabul, Afghanistan

- 15.750 USD net (tax free) per month
