Randstad Professionals is looking for a IT CHANGE MANAGER - INTRANET for their client in Basel. This is a 12 month contract role starting in May.

General tasks:

- Designing and implementing measures in the area of configuration/change/release management and respective processes and standards
- Evaluating, recommending and implementing tools and systems for configuration management, change management and release management
- Designing, planning and implementing of the change management and release management processes
- Creating and implementing configuration management, change management and release management plans
- Processing and implementing of change requests. Coordinating the changes during creation, testing and implementation. Checking the changes after implementation.
- Performing configuration audits, change reviews and reviews of the release planning.
- Creating management reports

Main Tasks:

- Manage a global network of responsible Intranet coordinators in units, functions and affiliates. Lead the respective Steering Teams
- Guide and lead Intranet coordinators of global functions, units and affiliates and support them to grow into their roles to own and govern their respective intranets accordingly (best practice sharing).
- Enforce global compliance regarding all existing rules and regulations.
- Serve as coordinator/owner of global tools, intranets or collaboration sites as part of the overall network of coordinators where appropriate. Lead by example in this role
- Elaborate the necessary policies and guidelines in close cooperation with all stakeholders, especially Corporate Design, IT, Legal and HR to ensure a safe and compliant Intranet.
- Together with stakeholders, evaluate, design, gather requirements for and/or provide state-of-the-art tools to ensure globally consistent collaboration, process management and information exchange. B26
- Assist in the B16development and implementation of the Intranet strategy, and provide expertise, project management and leadership for activities that are part of this plan.
- Serve as a project manager and in this capacity coordinate the work of interdisciplinary teams assigned to projects. Ensure that objectives are met and a high degree of effectiveness is maintained. Assist in determining assignments, help set priorities, monitor progress, and report on progress in meeting established milestones and deadlines.
- Maintenance and oversight of Group Umbrella; performance of daily publishing including time-sensitive news, confidential announcements, feature articles, background information and materials.
- Digital image management including sourcing of photos, image optimization for the web, maintenance of photo archive, ensuring knowledge of image standards for the web among publisher community

Languages: Fluent English (German is an advantage)
