Senior IT Buyer

The Senior IT Buyer will act as a single point of contact for all formal and legal correspondence relating to the IT contracts within the programme. They will be responsible for managing and interpreting the performance of these contracts, resolving any contract disputes and leading any contract discussions that may result in modifications to the existing contracts.

Job Accountabilities
*Develop processes and procedures required to manage and monitor the IT contracts.
*Negotiate and conform contracts with suppliers utilising the existing IT Framework contract provisions
*Act as a single point of contact, for formal and legal correspondence relating to the various IT contracts.
*Monitor and interpret the contracts performance to ensure services conform to the requirements.
*Monitor subordinate performance metrics as appropriate.
Resolving contract disputes in a timely manner.
*Documenting significant events and maintaining appropriate records.
*Escalate contract problems as necessary.
*Working with key stakeholders
*Proven experience of procurement or contract management.
