Senior IT Architect (m/f)

MY DUTIES:

-Take responsibility for the enterprise architecture and solution architecture towards the German Asset heavy Business Units such as Hydro, Distribution, Heat and Nuclear
-Understand business needs, and help to define innovative, yet stable and secure solutions
-Provide clear and justifiable architectural decisions towards projects so that the time to market can be reduced
-Hold yourself up to date on the latest market trends, and show a good understanding of usage of this technology by your Business Units
-Ensure solutions are delivered according to architecture and understand the limitations and dependencies that the complete IT landscape will have on it (such as scalability, security, availability, maintainability, usability etc.)
-Consult the business in creating applications roadmaps and provide guidance to get the roadmap accepted
-Enable digitalisation plates, by designing new business processes and their realization in MS Azure self-developed solutions or on O365 based solutions
-Contribute to projects, which could range from solution selection, towards due diligence on IT landscapes due to M&A activities
-Develop future proven strategy, technology roadmaps, manage the application portfolio, and explain and ensure good architectural practices within the transformations
-Work in more than fifteen transformations at the same time

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Experience in Generation and/or Distribution (or similar asset intensive business units)
-Good understanding of utility business processes and their IT landscape (SAP, SCADA, GIS, Historian, infrastructure and security regulations)
-Strong personality that knows how to combine and balance stakeholders interests
-Not afraid to make decisions to ensure output is being realized
-Fluency in German and English
-Strong Enterprise, Software and/or Infrastructure Architecture skills
-Previous hands-on experience in (international) Digitalization and Transformation projects
-Work well under pressure
-Profound IT experience and in-depth knowledge of solutions
