Senior IT-Application Architect (w/m)

Our Client is a multinational corporation with more than 10.000 employees worldwide and more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. For its location in Vienna we are looking for a fulltime Senior IT-Application Architect (f/m).

Your key tasks:

End-to-end leadership of all technical aspect of a project to rollout a redefined processing platform and IT-architecture
Responsibility for the technical integrity, completeness, appropriateness and quality of the entire platform. Must ensure that the solution meets the business and IT requirements
Responsible for all aspects of technical delivery (solution design, database modelling, software development, testing, pilot and multi-phase/multi-year rollout
Support and manage key members of the project e.g. off-shore and on-site IT vendors and service providers
Ensure consistent, traceable and standard project deliverables
Proactively guide, solve and manage resolution of technical issues throughout the project lifecycle

Your profile:

Degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience working in a similar position
Deep knowledge in Project Management, IT-Architecture, Application-Architecture and Application Management
Experience with Microsoft Servers, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM WebSphere, IBM Business Process Manager etc.
Experience in vendor management (selection, contract negotiations, SLA, monitoring)
Fluent in spoken and written English
