IT GIS Analyst needed for a role that we have that is due to take place in Bruusels Belgium, Details Below:
IT GIS Analyst
Description:
For the management of its applications, the IT department is divided into four competence centers oriented technologies: GIS, SAP, Datawarehouse and applications. These competence centers manages all applications developed in. NET, Java, and various packages. This competence center will be faced with major challenges in the years to come. This is why we want to strengthen the team by an external analyst. This mission is long-term (ranging up to 3 years).
Responsibilities:
* Support the needs analysis conducted by business representatives.
* Support the functional analysis for the development or modification of applications in the scope of its competence center based on the requirements provided by the business.
* To do this you use a method based on UML and Enterprise Architect tools.
You also make sure to:
* Estimating the burden and cost of change.
* Consider multiple solutions or approaches.
* Assess the impact of changes on existing situation.
* Ensure continuity of service and good maintainability of the solution.
* Update the reference documentation.
Supervise testing and quality control.
To do this:
* You control the quality of deliverables produced by our partners.
* You develop a test plan system.
* You write scenarios and test cases and run them.
* Tracking and resolution of incidents and problems.
* One of the first projects that you will take charge for the implementation of a solution for the management and monitoring of projects based on MS Project Server
Technical skills:
* You have an university degree (master or civil engineer or master degree in computer science ...).
* You have 5-10 years experience as a systems analyst or technical or organizational, governance and process description.
* You have experience ideally in the use of MS Project Server.
* You master MS Sharepoint 2010 level concepts and main features.
* You have mastered perfectly UML and Enterprise Architect.
* Experience on SOA projects is desirable.
* Knowledge of the Utilities sector is a plus.
* You ideally some project management skills and knowledge of ITIL/COBIT.
Personal skills:
* You are bilingual French/Dutch and fluent in English professional
* Key skills: able to listen, synthesize, conceptualize, formalize, communicate, results-oriented, creative, rigorous and precise, independent and team player, good learning ability
