Senior IT Advisor (Alstom Habitat and EMP)

Yoh has a 12 MONTH, CONTRACT-TO-HIRE opportunity for a SENIOR (SR.) IT TECHNICAL MEMBER/ADVISOR (ALSTOM HABITAT AND EMP PRODUCTS) to join our client in multiple locations.

LOCATIONS: Client is hiring TWO (2) resources for each location.
- The Woodlands, Texas
- Pine Bluff, Arkansas
- Little Rock, Arkansas

Job Responsibilities:
- Resource will work closely with current staff in efforts with the Generation Management System (GMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) - GMS and EMS are vendor supplied applications from Alstom.
- Resource will provide support to the GMS and EMS application areas, including database modelling, script creation for database conversation/migration, script maintenance, Power System applications test plan creation and execution.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- IT (Information Technology) leadership experience within a large team.
- Experience testing and tuning Alstom State Estimator product (RTNET).
- Knowledge of EMS and or GMS Operations environments.
- HP Test Director (HPALM) experience.
- Power Systems Engineering degree.
- Five to ten (5-10) years of experience with Alstom Habitat and EMP products specifically in the following areas:
- Strong Scripting skills and experience working with HDBRIO, HDBInport, HDBexport.
- Strong Perl Scripting skills and experience.
- Generation, Transmission and Network modelling in an Alstom 2.X environment.
- Experience with SCADA Modeling and one or both.
- Alstom RTGEN product configuration, maintenance and testing.
- Alstom Network Security Applications configuration maintenance and testing.
