Senior IS Project Manager (En&fr)

For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

SENIOR IS PROJECT MANAGER WITH IMPLEMENTATION KNOWLEDGE OF CLOUD SYSTEM EXPERIENCE AND ONLINE PACKAGES

to manage a full project involving IS teams, external parties and ensure a close collaboration with the business, and external stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Collection of Business requirements raised by our client's department and/or stakeholders, their analysis to produce functional specifications, with or without the help of a dedicated Business Analyst
- ENSURE CROSS TEAMS COORDINATION BY ACTING AS THE SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT CONCERNING HER/HIS PROJECTS.
- Provide regular feed-back on project (steering and operational committees).
- Communicate with line managers for ressources assigned to her/his projects.
- FOLLOW THE DEVELOPMENT WITH THE SOFTWARE DEP. AND EXTERNAL COMPANIES ENSURING THAT THE DEVELOPMENTS FIT WITH THE IT STRATEGY.
- Coordinate the external development team in collaboration with the Software dep. team members.
- Ensure project deliverables and quality and validate the proposed developments.
- PROVIDE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTATION, TRAINING AND COACHING TO THE BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGERS AND ENSURE THE FOLLOW-UP OF THE INSTALLATION/DEPLOYMENT.
- Ensure the handover to the IS support organization.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- Degree in Information Management (HES, HEC or University)
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN INTERNET, ECOMMERCE, MOBILE AND RETAIL PROCESSES/SOLUTIONS WITHIN A MULTI-CULTURAL & DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT
- Good competencies in project management (experience of 2-3 years)
- BUSINESS PROCESSES BACKGROUND WITH DISTINCTIVE SKILLS IN PLANNING & PRIORITIZING
- Good analytical and synthesis skills
- Good communication skills in English and French (fluent)

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT UNTIL THE END OF JULY 2015 IN THE FIRST INSTANCE.

THE CLIENT IS LOCATED ON LAKE GENEVA, IN LAUSANNE.
