JOB PROFILE SENIOR IP ENGINEER OPERATIONS

Overall purpose of the position:

- Ensures availability and continuous improvement/quality of services by providing 2nd line operations and maintenance support for IP Networks
- 2nd line incident management support
- Implementing changes
- Problem management
- Structural improvements to availability, capacity and performance
- Supporting new service introduction/projects
- Support Service manager in organizing and managing team

JOB REQUIREMENTS SENIOR IP ENGINEER OPERATIONS

- Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent level gained by experience, in Information Technology/Electronics/Telecommunications/Data communications Engineering
- Experience with ICT operations and maintenance support
- Be able to judge on operational acceptance complex new systems/applications
- At least (5-7) years of experience in mobile and fixed operational support organization within the domain of IP
- ITIL
- IP TEAM/PLATFORM/SERVICES SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
- Good understanding of mobile and ISP network architecture (GSM, GPRS, UMTS, IP, Internet)
- Valid driver's license
- English language skills (good verbal and written)
- CCNP level or equivalent certification and for sr. approaching CCIE level or equivalent certification
- Experienced in ITIL processes
- Expertise in at least one or multiple of the following technology domains:
- Network

o Routers, Switches and remote access Servers, preferably Cisco, Huawei, Juniper)
o Network and routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, MPLS-VPNs, QOS, Traffic Eng. etc.
o Network security (IOS access lists, VPN Concentrators, Access Servers, PIX, IPS, CheckPoint FW-1, IP Sec etc.) preferably with Fortinet/Huawei
o Network and performance monitoring.
o Ciscoworks, Tacacs, Radius, MRTG, HPOV
