Senior iOS Developer/Tech Lead Job

SENIOR IOS DEVELOPER/TECH LEAD needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Richmond or McLean, VA.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Onsite in Richmond or McLean, VA. Remote work is possible if candidate has a proven history of working remotely.
- Provides team or technical supervision and drives project/service delivery. Performs as technical lead on software development projects with responsibility for overall delivery of software components. Documents design decisions, adheres to existing process guidelines, develops software components, mentors junior developers, supports QA during testing, and has oversight during implementation into production.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Converts specifications about business problems into programming instructions. Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary.
- Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system. Maintains records to document program development and revisions.
- Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree
- Must have experience with enterprise/shippable to Apple Store products
- Five (5) years of strong iOS development experience (Objective C, Cocoa)/mobile application development
- HIGHLY PREFERRED is experience with Swift
- One (1) year of experience as Senior Developer on IT Projects
- Two (2) years of experience in Application Development for the iOS platform
- Strong analytic capability
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science
- Seven (7) years of experience in Application development
- Four (4) years of experience as Senior Developer on IT Projects
- Experience with Account Analysis applications
- Familiarity with commercial banking concepts is desired
- Exposure to Swift is a plus
