Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer/PE Job

Yoh has an on-going contract position for a LEAD INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEER WITH A PE in Greenville, S.C.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Job Responsibilities:
- Instrumentation/Control Systems Lead Engineer w/PE.
- Work on multiple projects including managing other engineers and designers.
- Work on schedules and budgets.
- Develop instrument indexes and cable schedules.
- Specify instrumentation and control valves.
- Prepare and check construction drawings.

Job Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience level in instrumentation and controls design in industrial chemical manufacturing facilities.
- Experience as instrumentation/controls engineer on multiple projects including managing other engineers and designers.
- Experience with budget, scope, and estimate development and administration. Lead engineer experience is required including working to schedules, budgets.
- Experience designing loop sheets, control elementaries, instrument location drawings, and network drawings (Ethernet, FieldBus, DeviceNet, etc.).
- Experience developing instrument indexes and cable schedules.
- Must have experience specifying instrumentation and control valves.
- Must be able to prepare and check construction drawings.
- PE by exam is required. Tennessee PE is a plus. If not registered in TN then must be able to obtain in 45 days or less.
- Understanding of National Electrical Code requirements.
- Working understanding of Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature and Analytical Instruments.
- Have experience with Hazardous Classification installations and with Intrinsically Safe Installations
- Strong ability to read and modify P&ID's and be able to write a sequence of operation by looking at a PLC.
