The role is multidimensional with a mixture of project work alongside troubleshooting, system monitoring and improvements on both local and global scales. The three focus areas are: Instant Messaging, Exchange and Mobility Technologies. Key skills/experience 1 Instant Messaging: OCS / LYNC and Open Fire or other XMPP based IM platforms. Other ideal skills/experience 1 Core Messaging: Microsoft Exchange, Ironport, Blackberry ES and Symantec Vault 2 Federation for instant messaging 3 Mixture of: Windows OS, Networking, Automation (powershell), management apps (SCOM) and protocols (XMPP, SIP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, RPC over HTTPS.
