Salary £38,000 pro rata

The Senior Inpatient Physiotherapist is responsible for the provision of specialised physiotherapy treatment for a wide variety of inpatients including those on CCU, those having had orthopaedic, gynae and general surgery and medical patients. You would be working to manage your own caseload and be flexible in daily working hours to meet the needs of the service and the department.

Please note this post may require you to participate in the on call and weekend rota.

Duties and Responsibilities
•Assessment and treatment of patients
•Achieve and maintain high standards of practice within the department
•Comply with legislative and hospital policies and procedure, ensuring patient safety
•Practice a high level of customer care
•Liaise with consultants, nursing staff and all departments as necessary to provide a comprehensive service for users
•Assist in stock control and to report all equipment faults
•Ensure all examination and equipment charges are captured
•Conduct oneself professionally at all times
•Maintain accurate patient records
•Participate in the weekend and on call service

Skills & Experience
•Graduate Diploma or BSc in Physiotherapy
•Registration with HPC
•Registration with MCSP
•Good verbal and non-verbal communication skill
•Good team player
•Evidence of professional/personal development
•Customer care skills
•Prioritizing workloads
