SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE/STORAGE ENGINEER

POSITION BASED IN PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, EUROPE

Provide 3rd level incident, problem and vendor escalation for Storage technologies
To provide Technical expertise on areas of specialty like Storage Performance, Offsite backup, Storage Virtualization, HA & DR

SKILLS REQUIRED:
IS Technical Skills
NetApp administration and configuration
Strong analytical, problem solving skills
Ability to work under pressure when need arises
Strongly demonstrated leadership in service and customer orientation within a multi-site operation with excellent customer relationship

From a technical perspective the main areas of expertise covered are:
o Storage Management of Tier1 - Tier3 Storage Management (SAN, NAS)
o Replication and Snapshot technologies
o Highly available Metro and Global Cluster Setups for DR
o Data Centre High Availability Clustering Setup
o Storage Management tools like HP Storage Essentials
o Data Protection and Recovery (NetBackup, BMR)
o Offsite Backup with FCIP or DWDM
o Hardware Platforms And Architectures (PA-RISC, ITANIUM, INTEL)
o Knowledge of Operating Systems (HP-UX, LINUX, WINDOWS)
o Knowledge of Databases and Middleware

METHODOLOGY SKILLS
Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library
Knowledge of Global Information Processes
