SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER

On behalf of our client, a leading global company, we are looking for a SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER WITH GOOD FINANCIAL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will work in the area of Application hosting which includes Web Security, Database and Application Infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

- Act as requirements manager for new E-commerce project requests
- Support product-management in tactical and strategic planning on Web Security topics for the infrastructure and business applications
- Support life cycle projects on various platforms
- Working with international team in a heterogeneous environment
- Accountable for projects delivery end2end on the supplier side
- Deliver project deliverables in time, quality and under given budget
- Manage project-team to thrive a positive/proactive work-culture
- Report and present status of projects to senior-management in suitable form

Skills:

- Over 5 years of experience in infrastructure IT project management in complex environments
- Good technical understanding and background of Web-Security/Linux/WAF/Apache products
- Good understanding of application development processes and methodologies
- Extensive financial industry experience, ideally banking
- Good knowledge in networking, routing and Proxy technology
- Good understanding of ITIL processes (Foundational Certification beneficial)
- Experience in designing of business-processes and workflows
- Strong sense for quality, responsibility and accountability in personal work style
- Fluent written and spoken English, ideally German as well.
