Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

Senior Infrastructure Transition & Transformation Project Manager required for a long term contract in Dublin.

The role is to manage transition projects, assuming responsibility for hosting and operating customer's IT Infrastructure as well as running the associated support processes such as service desk and service management.

The projects are large and complex and typically contain many of the following elements:

- Data centre design and build
- IT Infrastructure design and build
- Relocating customer Servers between data centres
- Implementing highly resilient networks and storage area networks
- Migrating data from Legacy storage devices
- Server consolidation using virtualisation
- Handover from project mode to steady state
- Enhancing customers' business recovery capabilities
- Disaster Recovery testing
- Exploit client global capabilities to deliver service to the customer
- Managing suppliers and sub-contractors
- Managing senior stakeholders

You will be an accomplished Senior Project Manager with a natural ability to manage this type of project from inception to sign-off.

The skills and attributes required are:

- Solid appreciation of cross platform IT Infrastructure
- Leadership skills
- Knowledge/understanding of Service Delivery & Outsourcing environments
- Expert at applying Project Management Disciplines (Planning, Financial Management, Risk, Issue, Change, Deliverable Management)
- Track record of project delivery on time, in budget, to specified quality
- Outstanding Communication and Presentation Skills
- Strong stakeholder management
- Handles pressure well
