Senior Infrastructure Architect - Linux, Unix, Windows
My client, a leading international consultancy are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join their customer for an initial 3 months, however the project will be running well into 2018.
They are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect with strong experience across Linux, Unix & Windows, responsibilities include:
- Aligned with the Infrastructure Vision and Roadmap, you contributed to the design and maintenance corporate IT infrastructure architectural principles.
- You describe the corporate infrastructure architecture, including blueprints, principles, methodologies, standards, frameworks and tooling. You facilitate the Solution Design using your collaborative approach with the Technical Delivery Departments.
- You have an advisory role toward people managers and a voice for the Infrastructure Vision and Strategy
- You support the Architectural Principals by integrating the IT Projects and challenging the Requirements and Design Principles
- You are aware of the Cloud Principles and have a strong opinion on the Orchestration of Hybrid Clouds
- You translate functional and nonfunctional needs to application architecture, to migration plans and projects.
- You monitor different kinds of infrastructure issues (maintenance, renewal, replacements).
- You have an advisory role in the buying process of IT products.
Profile
- You have a master degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience in an IT infrastructure environment. TOGAF awareness is a plus.
- You have an extensive knowledge of different IT infrastructure domains (like Linux, Unix, Windows, Middleware, Storage, Compute, Network ).
- You're an excellent communicator and a natural facilitator.
- You're a team player and a bridge builder between different departments.
- You're fluent in English. Dutch speaking knowledge is beneficial.
- You use a helicopter view, but you can also go into detail when needed.
- You're enthusiast, have the ability to engage and lead and are highly motivated.
- You're flexible and you're eager to learn new technologies.
