Senior Infra Architect Storage

Our client is looking for an storage architect. The architect joins the Architecture Group contributing to the solution of storage services worldwide, one of the world's largest independent Oil & Gas companies, large centralised datacenters and small distributed sites. Our Client is responsible for delivery of standardized NetApp storage services to all these locations.

The primary role of the architect is to develop the infrastructure architecture (High Level Design and Detailed Design) that provides a new solution for storage functionality in data centra en remote sites based namely on Netapp and ECM functionality.

Successful candidates will possess a bachelors degree in a relevant technology discipline or equivalent work experience, as well as the following experience and skills:

Minimum 5 years experience working in a storage engineering or consultancy position.

Strong experience in a customer facing position in a challenging environment.

Good experience of at least 3 current storage vendors and their products.

Good experience of NetApp

Good experience of working in international virtual teams.

Experienced working in a culturally diverse environment.

Experienced working on escalations, projects and strategy.

TOGAF certification (desirable).
