Senior Information System Security Technician

My Client, a major technology partner worldwide, is looking for a Senior Information System Security Technician to join the team in Luxembourg on a contract basis.

Working within the Registry team, the ISS technician will be tasked with:

- Coordinating the implementation of the Union Registry Security/Information classification policy by monitoring Commission CMS tools adaptation, Messaging and office tools adaptation, Digital certificates updates and deployment of specific security tools.
- Providing support to the redesign and implementation activity of specific parts of the Union Registry in relation with the Commission IT Directorate.
- Handling assets according to their classification.
- Communication and operation security.
- Network Security, an in-depth knowledge of PKI, hardware token based authentification, Firewalls, reverse proxies.
- Operating system security - an in-depth knowledge of Solaris virtualisation [zones] and Linux on x86 container technologies would be an advantage.
- Middleware security - Oracle DBMS and WebLogic would be an advantage.

Any experience within a security authority (National, NATO or EU) would be very advantageous.

Due to the location of this contract role, you MUST be able to speak fluent FRENCH.
