Senior Information Security Architect - Network & Vulnerability Management

Our client is a major service provider who ares currently looking to recruit an ISenior Information Security Architect within Network & Vulnerability Management to manage, supervise and direct Information Security.

The ideal candidate will be a technical SME, and be able to advise, consult and help write technical frameworks.

Candidates must be CISSP certified.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure an appropriate Information Security Strategy and Technology Risk Strategy is maintained which meets risk appetite.
- Manage the development and implementation of policies, processes, and guidelines related to IT security
- Oversee the management and reporting of Information Security and technology risks, including risk assessments on applications, vendors, processes and projects
- Act as the senior incident manager for high severity incidents.
- A key member of the CISO office Management team
- Defining, implementing, maintaining and communicating process and framework of information security aligned to the organisation's information security policy and approach
- Running the internal operational information security processes
- Defining and implementing process on how the organisation can stay compliant to all information security relevant topic covering an early warning system of new regulation, changed regulation, etc.
- Reviewing existing technical environment globally, propose changes, managing changes to improve IT security
- Aligning IT risk management to the organisation's overall approach and ensuring process implementation, including training
- Ensuring defined mitigation actions of IT Risk Register are implemented and have appropriate budget

Experience

- Excellent understanding of networking concepts and Information Security, including emerging threats and attack methodologies, in particular:
- Network Security, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Protocols, Networking Standards, Supervision, Conceptual Skills, Decision Making, Informing Others, Functional and Technical Skills, Dependability, Information Security Policies
- Demonstrated ability to integrate various security & data protection technologies and controls into a cohesive architecture that sufficiently mitigates risk to the enterprise.
- Deep technical understanding of and experience with security technologies including, but not limited to, intrusion detection/prevention, event correlation, Firewall, antivirus, anti-spam, policy enforcement, patch/configuration management, audit, secure application development, etc.
- Thorough understanding of Authentication and Authorization standards like OAuth, OpenID and SAML.
- Experience with Cryptography standards like Encryption, Digital Signatures, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Familiarity with hosted and cloud services and the related security implications and control approaches. Knowledge of Amazon AWS is preferred.
- Experience with applicable control frameworks and compliance mandates.
- Practical experience and knowledge of Enterprise Applications with Service Oriented Architecture supporting various channels and devices like Web, Mobile, Tablets etc.
