Role: Senior Information Analyst - MI/Data
Rate: Up to £439p/d
Location: Knutsford, Cheshire
Contract Length: Until 30/04/15 initially
Production Analysis and Support for the Senior Information Analyst - MI/Data role
*Analysis, design, test and communication of new/improved Management Information support solutions/infrastructure to time, cost and quality standards.
*Identify, own and manage/escalate risks and issues through to resolution. Develop solutions to prevent repetition of known issues/risks and share knowledge of lessons learned.
*Create and implement robust test framework to ensure successful deployment/implementation of all developments or new applications.
*Ensure all maintenance and improvement tasks are managed within best practice and the banks Governance Standards
*Optimise internal customer experience and deliverables through continuous challenge and innovative improvement of systems, tools and processes.
*Implement, support and active monitoring for new/improved processes and schedules to detect and resolve issues.
*Execute complex change to support reporting and incentives.
*Ensure metrics and measures are accurately performed and provide stretch targets for self and team. Define new SLA's for additional work
Stakeholder Engagement for the Senior Information Analyst - MI/Data role
*Understand customer business drivers and manage internal/external customer expectations through creation and maintenance of collaborative relationships with third Parties and user communities.
*Identify and prioritise business requests in line with the Information Unit business strategy and delivery Roadmap
*Ensure support functions build and maintain collaborative relationships with third Parties and user communities at all opportunities.
*Deliver effective technical/Support/customer/team communications throughout development/warranty/maintenance cycles.
Team Management/Team work
*Clear, consistent and highly effective management of direct reports, or assigned resource eg project/apprentices/managed service resource. Creating a 'no blame' environment in which individuals are coached and supported to develop and grow.
*Provide confident, advice, analysis and support on the services and systems provided to immediate and wider Information Business Unit team.
*Prioritise plan and co-ordinate resources to ensure delivery of tasks in line with business priorities and strategic agenda
*Own, track, and manage, development and performance, for self, and any direct reports.
Key Performance Indicators:
*Quantified cost/risk reduction
*Quality, accuracy, and timeliness of communications, training and reports delivered.
*Quantity of appeals/queries/issues or incidents raised
Experience
*Extensive experience of using analytic skills to identify and resolve complex issues
*Proven track record of implementation of technical system/business process/reporting solutions
*Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative internal relationships through excellent stakeholder/customer relationship management
*Strong communication skills
*Experienced at working on/leading workstreams on a variety of different projects at the same time.
*Team management
Knowledge
*Innovative methods or systems that define possible designs/processes for future data solutions
*Knowledge of management information tools and systems and the application of these.
*Governance and compliance policies, standards, and procedures.
*Strong analytical skills including ability to provide insightful recommendations and comment
*Wider-thinking and problem solving - identifying and delivering solutions through own initiative.
*Internal and external benchmarking and best practice
*General knowledge of products, services, processes, systems and regulatory policy requirements.
*Advanced Excel and Access skills.
*Incident management methodology
*Change management principles.
*Capacity/resource planning and judgement of priorities
*Degree level in mathematical or logical based subject (preferable)
