Senior Independent Reviewing Officer

Pay rate is 45 - 48p/h Ltd/ Umbrella Company

We are looking for a Senior Independent Review & Conference Officer to be responsible for all other IRCO's within the county. The successful candidate will have management experience, preferably within a safeguarding setting preferably in a service where change management and improvement were indicated. The successful candidate with have extensive knowledge and experience of child protection and LAC reviewing processes and be able to identify SMART plans and the need to meet timescales. The Post holder will also have knowledge of undertaking 1:1's with chairs and monitor performance. Must hold previous experience as a senior independent reviewing officer at Team Manager level. Must hold experience in managing Independent reviewing officers
The post holder must have previous experience as an IRO.

Requirements:
*You must be a Qualified Social Worker
*You must have HCPC Registration
*You must have previous experience as an IRCO
*You must have children's social work management experience
*You must have an expertise in child protection practice
*You must be able to work closely with another SIRCO
*You must have an ability to drive and move things forward
*You must be able to work effectively with professionals from other services
*You must be able to work deadlines and be able to work in a pressurised, fast paced environment
*You must also have excellent communication skills
*You must be willing to undergo or have undergone an enhanced DBS check
*You must be a car driver with own transport
