Due to the urgency of the assignment, SC or DV (Developed Vetting) Security clearance required
You will be accountable for the delivery of Incident and Major Incident management
Essential skills
Strong Incident Management practitioner experience
Minimum ITIL V3 Foundation
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Knowledge and use of helpdesk management software
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A commitment to service management best practice as defined by ITIL (BS15000)
Effective Management of running Major Incidents
Management or 3rd Parties
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Track record of improving customer satisfaction
Flexible approach to working, especially during busy periods
Ability to effectively lead a team
Experience in process maturing
Experience of managing a team
Desirable
ITIL Specialist Service Desk Incident Management
An understanding of Service Level Agreements and their application
Other Certification in Service Management best practice as defined by ITIL (BS15000) or experience of working in such an environment
Able to put together management and technical reports with plans, costs and risks
Overall knowledge of Windows operating systems and associated applications
Communication skills and an excellent team player.
