Senior IBM Cognos/BI Consultant

Resource 1 is in need of a IBM COGNOS/BI CONSULTANT for a 12 month contract in Chicago, IL.  Individual should have expert-level skills in IBM COGNOS FRAMEWORK DEVELOPMENT, CUBES, relational DB design, and IBM Cognos administration. Individual will be primarily responsible for building a large functional framework across multiple product verticals within the Financial/Derivatives, including listed derivatives, OTC derivatives & Back Office GMI. Experience with Financial Services and Derivatives is a plus, but not required for this position. Individual will also be responsible for on-going additions to the framework for derivative products being attached to the data warehouse. This position will also include report development (Cognos) for various product lines and venders. Individual should also have experience building data models (have a high understanding of data/meta data), normalizing data and designing universes. Qualified applicants can e-mail resumes for consideration.
